Jake Paul: New boxing training footage actually looks decent

Jake Paul is desperate to prove to boxing fans why he is the real deal and should be considered a ‘proper’ boxer.

Coming off of a sensational knockout victory over Tyron Woodley, Paul is eager to prove his doubters wrong.

Currently riding a professional record of 5-0, ‘The Problem Child’ is starting to make a name for himself in the sport of boxing.

With that being said, he has not fought since his rematch win over the former UFC champion back in December of 2021.

However, he has recently teased that he will be fighting in August with an opponent yet to be confirmed.

The likes of Michael Bisping, Anderson Silva, Mike Tyson and Tommy Fury have all been rumoured.

A potential showdown with Fury looks more likely as the pair have been going back and forth on social media for a while.

Recently, a video has been posted on social media showing Paul’s improved boxing skills.

Jake has been filmed looking “fast and sharp” on the pads as preparations for August’s bout are underway.

Many have been quick to criticise ‘The Problem Child’ simply because he doesn’t have a boxing background.

It’s fair to say that he is starting to prove his critics wrong as he looks to climb up the rankings and become a world champion, no matter how unlikely that may seem.

With an opponent for his August bout yet to be announced, despite Fury looking likely, Tyson has thrown his name into contention.

Speaking on the Club Random Podcast, Mike said: “I’m going to call him sometime Friday and we’re going to talk, absolutely.”

Both Paul and Tyson believe that a potential showdown could be worth over $300 million.

“He’s a fighter but they don’t want to credit him as being a fighter. He can fight and everybody wants to kick his a** because he p***** everybody off. He’s a great salesman and promoter, he doesn’t even know it. He’s just a natural great promoter,” Tyson continued.

Regardless of who Paul faces, ‘The Problem Child’ will be aiming to maintain his undefeated record.
