Moreover, Pacquaio was the first boxer to win major world titles in four of the eight divisions; flyweight, featherweight, lightweight and welterweight. Although being a senator of the Philippines hasn't stopped him from fighting, he reveals his top four fighters of all time."You're giving me a hard time", Pacquaio stated.At number four on the list is Roy Jones Jr, who held several world championships in four weight classes from 1989 to 2018. The former American boxer, who has a dual American and Russian citizenship, won titles at middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight.BoxRec ranks him as the 29th greatest pound for pound fighter of all time.
Next on the list is Julio Cesar Chavez. Born in Mexico, Chavez would go on to win multiple championships in three weight divisions. 'The Caesar of Boxing' was listed as the world's best boxer, pound for pound, from 1990 to 1993.
Defending his titles proved to be one of his most prolific skills. The Mexican holds records for the most total successful defenses of world titles (27), shared with Omar Narvaez.
The great Muhammad Ali is ranked second. When you think of boxing, Muhammad Ali springs to mind. He is widely regarded as one of the sport's most prominent figures ever to grace boxing in the 20th century. Many of them rank Ali as the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. As well as being a high-profile figure during the civil rights movements in the 1960s, he maintained a successful boxing career with a record of 56 wins and five losses.
