After being in beta for months and then soft launching in limited regions, Respawn Entertainment has finally presented us with a release date for its upcoming Apex Legends Mobile as well as confirming the first Season.
Apex Legends Mobile is undoubtedly among the most anticipated mobile game launches of the year and is built from the ground up for mobile devices. The developers are aiming to provide players with a great battle royale experience.
While the speculations around the game launching in May had been doing rounds on the internet, the developers put these to rest by releasing a brand new trailer for Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 and also presenting fans with a concrete release date.

Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 Release Date
Respawn on Monday 11th May 2022 dropped a surprise trailer on its official Apex Legends Mobile YouTube channel titled “Apex Legends Mobile: Season 1 Launch Trailer,” setting up the stage for the game’s very first season.
The official release date for Apex Legends Mobile is Tuesday 17th May 2022 and chances are that Season 1 of Apex Legends Mobile will start the same day i.e. 17th May. Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 will be dropping on both Android and iOS devices simultaneously, so everyone will be able to jump into the arena.

To accompany such a big reveal, the developers dropped a nearly 3 minutes long Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 launch trailer, showing off all the different legends, their abilities, weapons, map and more.
Judging by the trailer, we can expect Apex Legends Mobile to have a similar set of weapons and legends as its PC sibling. However, don’t expect every legend, weapon or map to be available from the start.
What else is known about Apex Legends Mobile Season 1
As with any Battle Royale game, Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 will even feature its own Battle Pass filled with cosmetic items and other rewards. However, no details about the contents of the Battle Pass have been shared yet.
Apex Legends Mobile won’t have cross-play either and as per the FAQ page, the reason for this is due to the fact that: “Apex Legends Mobile has been built specially for mobile, it doesn’t feature cross-play with the console or PC versions of Apex Legends.”
