Manchester City are on the verge of winning a fourth Premier League title in just five years.

The Citizens went into their match away at Wolverhampton Wanderers knowing that only a win would suffice following Liverpool's 2-1 victory against Aston Villa.

And City certainly delivered on that front, with Kevin De Bruyne inspiring his team to an emphatic 5-1 triumph at Molineux.

The Belgian maestro scored four goals on the night, with three of them coming in the space of just 17 first half minutes.

By the 24th minute of the match, De Bruyne had already secured the match ball. Not bad, eh?

The former Chelsea man's heroics against Wolves mean he now occupies third spot in the list of the fastest hat-tricks in Premier League history.

Just to clarify, that's not in terms of the fastest from the first goal to the third, it's from kick-off to the third goal.

Mane's record isn't being broken for a long, long time.

The Liverpool star's hat-trick for Southampton against Villa was also the fastest in Premier League history from the first goal to the third.

It took the Senegalese winger just 2 minutes and 56 seconds to ripple the back of the opposition net on three occasions, incredible stuff.

Also a special shout out to Owen, who's the only man to feature on the list above twice.

People forget just how special the striker-turned-pundit was in his younger days at Liverpool...
