AEW star MJF has continued to fuel the fire linking him to WWE by naming the Superstars he’d love to work with in the company.

It’s common knowledge that MJF’s contract with AEW is up in 2024 and it’s believed there is strong interest from WWE in bringing the 26-year-old to the company. Especially since Cody Rhodes move has opened the door for stars to make the leap across to WWE.

Reports this week have suggested that MJF is leaning towards no re-signing with AEW, with he and Tony Khan still not close to reaching an agreement – something that it said to be frustrating Friedman.

Never shy about name dropping AEW’s ‘competition’, speaking with Brandon Walker on Barstool Rasslin’, MJF was asked if he would interested in wrestling Roman Reigns if he were to end up in WWE. The question was met with a positive response, and MJF went one step further and named two further WWE Superstars he’d love to work with.

I would imagine. I think me and him (Roman Reigns) would have a tremendous match. I think it would be a friendly competition. I would also love to wrestle Seth Rollins. I would love to wrestle The Miz.

It’s not the first time MLF has referenced WWE, both in media interviews and during promos, too. Most notably in his war of words with CM Punk during their dealings earlier this year. However, any possible move to WWE wouldn’t be for another two years, and plenty could and will happen before his contract is up.

MJF’s immediate plans see him pencilled in to face Wardlow at AEW Double of Nothing on 29 May, if the Master of Mayhem agrees to the terms that were laid out by MJF on this past week’s Dynamite show.
