Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi combined for sublime goal in Montpellier vs PSG

Paris Saint-Germain were in fine form as they easily overcame Montpellier on Saturday evening.
The French giants were without Neymar but still fielded two of their star players in Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
And the duo were well and truly in the mood as they spearheaded PSG to a convincing 4-0 victory.
Messi, who has not hit the heights expected of him this season, gave PSG a two-goal lead with an early brace.
Angel Di Maria made it 3-0, before Mbappe scored from the spot to round out the scoring.
The pick of the goals was the undoubtedly Messi’s second. It came after some brilliant play by both the Argentine and Mbappe.

Mbappe picked up the ball on the left-hand side.
The 23-year-old got his head up and spotted Messi making a run towards the box.
The Frenchman picked his teammate out with a pin-point pass with the outside of his foot.
Messi then showed typical class as he effortlessly rounded the goalkeeper and put the ball into an empty net.
It was a truly classy goal and you can view it below…

Incredible pass from PSG's Prince to find Messi, who takes it round the keeper for a cool finish 💫

What a goal. That pass from Mbappe was just something else.
Messi still had work to do but he managed to do Mbappe’s pass justice.
The Argentine pointed to Mbappe and than ran to celebrate with him straight after hitting the back of the net.
PSG have just one more game remaining of the campaign, when they welcome Metz to Parc des Princes next Saturday.
It could well be Mbappe’s last game for the French giants.

His contract runs out in the summer and there are serious doubts that he will extend his stay.
It will be an almighty blow for the club should Mbappe choose to leave.
He’s a superstar and it’s almost certain that he will win the Ballon d’Or at some point in his career.
