Celtic were crowned Scottish champions once again on a glorious Saturday afternoon at Celtic Park.

Celtic saw to it that their northern monopoly was restored having seen their unprecedented bid for ten titles in a row scuppered by eternal rivals Rangers last season.

It was a comfortable stroll to the title on the final day as well, having already guaranteed victory by leaping four points ahead of Rangers in second place.

The party atmosphere was already at its zenith prior to kick-off but when Celtic then went and smashed six goals past a hapless Motherwell, the home faithful became rather merry indeed.

A brace of braces from Kyogo Furuhashi and Girogos Giakoumakis, complimented by strikes from David Turnbull and Jota, soon had fans singing in the the terraces.

The scenes post game were pretty special as well as the squad enjoyed a joyful lap of honour in front of their adoring fans.

That lap of honour, however, might not be so memorable for one young Celtic fan in particular though.

Having rushed the pitch, the youngster was making his way towards the squad at quite a rate before one no-nonsense steward set his sights on him.

Determined not to let him get anywhere near the players, and the nearby pundits, the steward deployed a ruthless slide tackle to send the lad flying.

Perhaps most fortunately, for us at least, cameras caught the incredible moment unfolding behind the line of pundits covering the celebrations.

You can catch the mad-capped moment in the footage below:

Incredible - the steward was having absolutely none of it.

Credit must be given to the pundits as well as they simply continued on with their chat as if nothing had happened.

The lad was then hauled up by another steward before the clip promptly ends.

Celtic will now watch on nervously as their rivals jet off to Spain to take part in the Europa League final.

Should they come up short against Eintracht Frankfurt, that might just soften the blow for the young lad in the clip.
