YouTube boxing hit another level on Saturday night as Nathan ‘Dad’ Barnatt TKO’d Matt Watson in just 22 seconds.
The two influencers entered the ring for Creator Clash, but 41-year-old Barnett applied brutal pressure from the start and his opponent never stood a chance.
Twenty-six-year-old Watson was pummelled by a continuous spray of punches, occasionally trying to land a reply – but with no success.
The incredible footage shows the speed and stamina of Barnatt, who never looked like slowing down. Watson then found himself in the corner, and after just 22 seconds, the referee ended the fight.
Both Americans have impressive YouTube channels, with ‘Dad’ Barnatt having over 340,000 subscribers.
Watson’s SuperMega channel has nearly 960,000 subscribers – almost three times as many as Barnatt.
A mismatch in subscribers and a mismatch in the ring.
Watson did take the emphatic loss with a dash of humour, tweeting: “Not the first time I’ve lasted 22 seconds.”
Barnatt also took to Twitter after his win, which has clearly given him some confidence as he called out Jake Paul.
“Twenty two seconds! Faster win than Jake Paul. Dad can’t be stopped. Come on troll boy.”
Fellow YouTube personality Paul has also tried his hand at boxing, beating numerous opponents as he looks to make a name for himself in the sport.
Love it or hate it, YouTube boxing is here to stay.
