When is the French Open?
Qualifying for the French Open starts today and runs until May 20th, with the main draw commencing on May 22nd.
Night sessions were introduced to the tournament for the first time last year, and will appear again on this year's schedule from May 23rd to June 3rd.
The women’s final is set to be played on June 4th, with the men’s final scheduled for the following day.
Where is the French Open?
The French Open will be held at Stade Roland Garros in Paris. Matches will be played on clay court.
Who is playing at the French Open?
Every top 10 player in women’s tennis is on the entry list for Roland-Garros. This includes world number one Iga Świątek, who is currently in scintillating form.
Defending champion Barbora KrejÄÃková is also on the entry list, and looks set to compete at the tournament after recovering from an elbow injury.
Paula Badosa, Maria Sakkari, Anett Kontaveit, Ons Jabeur, Aryna Sabalenka and Garbiñe Muguruza are among the other stars set to compete at the French Open.
Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka is on the entry list despite withdrawing from the Italian Open with an Achilles injury, but tennis legend Serena Williams is still absent. The 23-Grand Slam winner has suggested she may return at Wimbledon.

When is the French Open draw?
The men’s and women’s singles draws each consist of 104 direct entries, 16 qualifiers and eight wild cards. There are 32 players seeded in each of the draws.
The draw was carried out on May 19th and can be found below. Naomi Osaka's match against Amanda Anisimova is perhaps the most mouthwatering clash in the opening round. The pair played in the third round of the Australian Open, with Anisimova clinching a three-set victory.
Will Emma Raducanu be playing at the French Open?
Emma Raducanu is on the entry list for the French Open and looks set to compete, despite struggling with injury in recent weeks.
The US Open champion was forced to retire from the first round of the Italian Open with a back injury, and she has reportedly flown back to London to determine the extent of the issue.
