WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 is set to be the next Premium Live Event offering from the biggest brand in Sports Entertainment, but what could be the matches taking place on the card?

HIAC will be the fifth main roster Premium Live Event of 2022, following on from the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania Backlash.

The official poster for the event has a number of huge names who are expected to be performing on the night, including Cody Rhodes, Ronda Rousey, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Edge, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre.

Here are our predictions for the WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 match card as of writing on Monday 16th May 2022.

Predicted Match Card

As of writing on Monday 16th May 2022, no matches have been confirmed for the Premium Live Event itself.

Having said that, these are the matches that we will believe will be taking place on the show on Sunday 5th June 2022:

WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match: Bianca Belair (c) vs Becky Lynch vs Asuka

  • WWE WrestleMania Backlash did not feature a RAW Women’s Championship match, so we’re expecting there to be a massive triple threat at the show in June.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) vs WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)

  • We cannot see a match between these two teams on SmackDown realistically going down without any sort of contested finish, so we’re expecting the unification to take place at the Premium Live Event itself.

Cody Rhodes vs Seth 'Freakin' Rollins (Hell in a Cell Match)

  • Cody is the featured Superstar on the front of the Hell in a Cell 2022 poster, and we can see WWE wanting to blow off his feud with Seth Freakin’ Rollins inside of the Cell.

Happy Corbin vs Madcap Moss

  • This would be the third straight match on a Premium Live Event between the former tag team partners, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen again.

AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Liv Morgan vs Judgment Day (Edge, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley)

  • With the Judgment Day stable getting a new member in the form of Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania Backlash, we can certainly see the company wanting to do a 6-person tag team match between all of the parties involved in the current feud.
