MultiVersus Open Beta dates have finally been announced and here’s a quick rundown of everything you need to know. 

The past few weeks have been quite busy for MultiVersus as Player First Games continues to share new and noteworthy things surrounding the upcoming free-to-play fighting game. 

Recently, the developers announced a MultiVersus closed alpha which will commence on Thursday 19th May and run till Friday 27th May. This will give more players a chance to check out the game and share their experiences. 

On Monday, 16th May, Player First Games released a brand new cinematic trailer for MultiVersus along with announcing a MultiVersus open beta that is slated to happen later this year.

This certainly seems to hint that the game will launch sometime soon. With that said, here’s everything that is known about the upcoming MultiVersus Open Beta.

MultiVersus Open Beta Release Date

After being radio silent for a couple of months, MultiVersus is getting a ton of new reveals and announcements, quenching the thirst of eager fans. Player First Games is also building up the hype by sharing new things about the game.

In a latest official cinematic trailer titled “You’re with Me!,” the developers teased the MultiVersus Open Beta dates. As per the trailer, MultiVersus Open Beta will happen sometime in July 2022. 

As of now, WB hasn’t confirmed an exact date or a window for the upcoming open beta. However, signing up for the beta will provide you early access and the ability to train up and find your ideal fighting partner. 

What else is known about MultiVersus Open Beta

Apart from a July release window, the trailer also seems to hint at the addition of new and unique characters like the Tasmanian Devil from Looney Tunes, and The Iron Giant, among other playable characters.

In addition to revealing more characters and the open beta announcement, the Multiversus key art has also been shared to the public. The art features Batman and Shaggy at the centre, all teamed up and ready to battle – meanwhile, all the other playable characters can be seen filling the sides.

Almost about two hours of voice lines have also reportedly been discovered, which seems to suggest that Marvin the Martian, LeBron James, and Raven (DC Comics/Teen Titans) will appear as playable fighters in the game at some point.
