The UEFA Europa League Final 2022 is here, with this year's sides facing off being Frankfurt and Rangers.
This game means so much for both sides, having both performed valiantly throughout the competition thus far knocking out some European giants along the way. Frankfurt defeated West Ham in the semi-final, whereas Rangers provided a massive upset by outwitting German powerhouses RB Leipzig over the course of two legs.
Now it's winner takes all in this match, but who will come out on top? What we do know is we're in for an enthralling encounter that will see one side take the title of UEFA Europa League champions 2022.

Frankfurt against Rangers will take place on Wednesday 18th May 2022 at the Estadio R. Sanchez Pizjuan, Sevilla. The match will start at 8:00 PM UK time.

Frankfurt were dealt with a massive injury blow in the semi-final, Austrian defender Martin Hinteregger was forced off after seven minutes with a hamstring injury - which will see him sidelined for at least a few months.
Evan Ndicka also looked doubtful for the German side, but they'll be happy to know he looks fit and ready to feature in tomorrow's game.
As for Rangers, the trio of Filip Helander, Alfredo Morelos and Ianis Hagi are all unfortunately still unavailable, but some positive news is that Kemar Roofe is pushing extremely hard to be involved - but will certainly be touch and go.

Wednesday's final will be the first meeting between the two sides since 1960, when the two faced off in the European Cup semi-finals, with Frankfurt battering the Scottish side 6-1 on aggregate over two legs.

Both sides are certainly in with a shot at winning this final judging from previous fixtures, but the German side's quality of players looks far too much for Rangers to come away with a victory. They also don't have their home crowd on their side which was such a huge factor against RB Leipzig, so although we think this will be close - Frankfurt will ultimately be Europa League 2022 champions.
