League of Legends Bel’veth Delay

A thread on the r/LeagueofLegends Subreddit discussed the Bel’veth delay and the original writer of the thread gave their own views on the situation.

They noted: “Reminder that Bel’veth is delayed simply because Riot doesn’t want to overwork their employees. At least that’s what I found out according to August, which is someone who you can’t easily record.

“Anyway, that’s nice, although I kind of wish for any sort of teaser besides roadmap in that case but it’s fine. What do you think?”

Players React

Players of the massively popular esport title have been discussing the delay in the aforementioned thread.

One Redditor noted that the meta for LoL is going to “shift” in the upcoming 12.10 Patch, so there is really no need for a new Champion.

They wrote: “Bruh the entire meta is about to shift, we are basically going to be playing a new game in 12.10. Totally fine without a new champ.”

Another player commented on the situation and they believe that there are took many Champions in the game already.

They wrote: “I think we already have too many champions and not enough bans. I also think riot doesn’t understand how to make fair champions that don’t have overloaded kits anymore.”

One player would talk about the idea that Riot is not trying to overwork their staff, writing: I don’t think they are under any pressure of the community or Tencent to release a champ right now as long as the skin team brings in the money.

“Ofc it’s a good thing to have some of your employers have some rest but people compare it to actual triple-A studios crunching their employees which is a totally different thing.”
