Seahawks running back Travis Homer is looking shredded ahead of crucial year

Seattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer

Seattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer is looking in incredible shape as he gears up for this upcoming season.

Last year was certainly something of a disappointment for both Travis Homer and the Seattle Seahawks as a whole, finishing with a 7-10 record that saw them finish 4th in the NFC West, and having to say goodbye to franchise QB Russell Wilson in the process as he was traded to the Denver Broncos

Meanwhile, in his third season in the league, Homer still didn’t manage to make that much of an impression on the Seahawks roster, making 14 appearances for them, none of which were starts, and having 21 rushing attempts that totaled 177 yards.

With the departure of Wilson, things are certainly going to be different at Lumen Field and there might be some more opportunities for players like Homer to make an impact.

And judging by how he looks in preseason work, Homer his certainly doing his best to make an impression to Seahawks staff.

Shredded in Seattle

Homer has clearly been making sure that the ball stays secure under his arm this season as a photo was posted on the Seahawks’ Twitter page that showed him clutching the ball very tight in some arms that have certainly seen some work this offseason:

In his limited playing time in his career, he is yet to fumble the ball, and if these arms are anything to go by, it might take some effort to rip the ball free from him this season.

A case of now or never

The Seahawks have got a fair number of running backs on their books right now, so it was always going to take something special for him to stand out above the rest, and hopefully these impressive arms go some way to doing that.

Can you remember who won these Super Bowls? Starting with the most recent one... LVI

With this now being his 4th year in the league, you have to think that if he was ever going to break out and be a star running back, this would be the time for it to be done, so hopefully this will all be worth it when the season begins.
