Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are still dreaming of an incredible quadruple this season.

After beating Southampton on Tuesday night, the Reds ensured the Premier League title race will go down to the final day of the season. Realistically, they need to beat Wolves at Anfield and hope Manchester City fail to beat Aston Villa.

That win on the south coast came just three days after claiming their second domestic cup competition of the season, beating Chelsea on penalties to lift the FA Cup. Earlier this season, Liverpool won the Carabao Cup against the same opponents in the same manner.

While they need a minor miracle to pip Man City to the Premier League title, they will go into the Champions League final against Real Madrid as slight favourites on May 28.

We really witnessed strength in squad depth at the St Mary's during Liverpool's 2-1 win with Klopp having to make nine changes to the side that started the FA Cup final.

But squad players such as Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Takumi Minamino impressed despite Liverpol falling 1-0 down to Nathan Redmond's strike.

And it got us thinking about this incredible quadruple chasing Liverpool squad. So, we've turned to trusty Tiermaker to rank the performance of every member of this squad this season.

Of course, they've all played a role in this brilliant season but we've attempted to separate the very best to those who will be disappointing with their role this campaign.

So, from 'Disappointment' to 'Player of the Season', here's the ranking of Liverpool's amazing 2021/22 squad.

Disappointment

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Harvey Elliott

Oxlade-Chamberlain hasn't played in the Premier League since mid-February and was an unused substitute at Southampton despite the wholesale changes. Klopp admitted after the match he 'hates' himself for not bringing Oxlade-Chamberlain on. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him leave Anfield this summer.

Elliott is in the 'disappointment' tier by no fault of his own. The 19-year-old started three of Liverpool's first four games before a horrific ankle injury against Leeds. Klopp has eased him back into the first-team but he started against Southampton and looked sharp. He's a special talent and next season could be big for him.

Done a good job

Jordan Henderson
James Milner
Naby Keita
Curtis Jones
Roberto Firmino

Divock Origi
Takumi Minamino
Caoimhin Kelleher
Joe Gomez
Kostas Tsimikas

It feels a little harsh to say these 10 players have done a 'good job' for Liverpool this season.

Henderson, Milner, Keita, Jones, Firmino, Origi, Minamino, Kelleher, Gomez and Tsimikas have all been in-and-out of the starting line-up at times. When called upon they've performed brilliantly and have all had great runs of form.

Keita can probably consider himself the most unfortunate to be in this tier because the midfielder has enjoyed his best season at Liverpool so far.

Henderson's form has been inconsistent at times but his role as captain simply can't be understated.

Firmino has found himself fall down the pecking order thanks to injuries and the form of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz but is still a quality player.

Milner, Jones, Origi, Minamino, Kelleher, Gomez and Tsimikas have had to accept their role as 'cup players' but have helped Liverpool win both the League Cup and FA Cup.

Brilliant

Diogo Jota
Ibrahima Konate
Andy Robertson

It sums up just how good Liverpool's season has been that 'Brilliant' is the middle tier in this ranking.

Jota started the season on fire and has scored 15 goals in 34 Premier League games this season. However, Diaz has been preferred to him in recent weeks and is now fighting to start each week.

Konate has spent the majority of this season on the bench behind Joel Matip in the fight to partner Virgil van Dijk. However, whenever the 22-year-old has played, he's been magnificent. It's worth noting the Frenchman is yet to lose in a Liverpool shirt, having played 27 times in all competitions.

Robertson can maybe consider himself hard done by not to be in the next tier up this list. Our reasoning is that the Scot did have a small spell of poor form earlier this season. Okay, that's hardly surprising given the number of games he plays and the fact he doesn't stop running for 90 minutes. Sorry, Andy!

Sensational

Thiago
Alisson
Luis Diaz
Virgil van Dijk
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Sadio Mane
Joel Matip

Seven 'sensational' performers for Liverpool this season - and there can be very little doubt they deserve to be in this tier in their own right.

In recent months, Thiago has probably been Liverpool's best player with his incredible passing ability to unlock defences.

Alisson has saved Liverpool on countless occasions, becoming something of an expert in a one-on-one situation.

Diaz's signing in January has been nothing short of a masterstroke. The Colombian has hit the ground running and looks as though he's been a Liverpool player for many years. Suddenly the post-Mohamed Salah era at the club isn't quite so scary.

Van Dijk has been back to his very best this season following his horror injury in the 2020/21 campaign. The best defender in the world? We think so.

Then there's Alexander-Arnold who leads the way in terms of Premier League assists this season. He's also silenced those critics who questioned his defensive ability. At the age of 23, he's now got his hands on the Champions League, Premier League, League Cup, FA Cup, Super Cup and Club World Cup. Not bad.

Mane went on a run of seven Premier League games without a goal before heading to the African Cup of Nations. But after leading his Senegal side to victory, he's been brilliant with some crucial goals and sensational performances.

Konate is yet to lose a game in a Liverpool shirt and yet Matip is still most likely to partner Van Dijk in the Champions League final. That just about says it all about how the defender has performed this season.

Player of the Season

Mohamed Salah

There can only be one and we're giving it to Salah.

We can't forget just how good he was before heading to AFCON with 16 goals in 20 Premier League games. He also notched seven in the Champions League group stages. Okay, he hasn't quite been firing in recent weeks but he's still leading the race for the Premier League Golden Boot and we're giving him Liverpool's Player of the Season award.

Full rankings

So, there we go. Liverpool's 25-man squad has been ranked from 'Disappointment' to 'Player of the Season.'

In truth, every member has played a key role in this quite incredible campaign for Klopp's side. Whether that's on the pitch or off the pitch, they all contributed to a season that won't be forgotten in a long time - no matter what happens in the final 10 days or so.

Come the end of the season, Liverpool will have played in every game possible - 63. Klopp has needed his entire squad to keep their quadruple dream alive into the final week of the campaign.

And they've all answered the call at some point of the season.
