Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on this past Mondayâs episode of Raw over creative differences, but this isnât the first time Banks has thrown her toys out of the pram.
Footage of her appearance on Stone Cold Steve Austinâs Broken Skull Sessions has recently re-emerged following the incident at the Norfolk Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, and could indicate Banksâ problems with WWE may have been bubbling to the surface for quite some time.
Speaking on Broken Skull Sessions about what level she perceives herself to be on using metaphors, Banks said: âBefore I was a super fan just thankful to be here, thankful for my hot dog, thank you for my pizza, thank you for my time, my TV time.
âBut there comes a point where you can be thankful, grateful and blessed, but they have to know thereâs a chapter after that and thatâs where Iâm at, on a whole different level.
âIâm done with the Iâm thankful, Iâm done with the pizza, I donât eat that anymore. I eat steak like Vince McMahon, with vegetables like him. Because I can be that and thatâs where Iâm at.
âIâm here, Iâm signed and Iâve been here, Iâve put in the work and if I see myself where I want to see myself, Iâm on Vince McMahonâs level.â
It would appear that Banksâ attitude towards WWEâs recent creative direction with her character has finally boiled over and the warning signs were there.
In recent times, The Legit Boss has been paired with Naomi and the two defeated previous WWE Womenâs Tag Team Champions Queen Zelina and Carmella, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan and Natalya and Shayna Baszler in a fatal four-way tag team match at WrestleMania 38 Night 2 last month to win the gold.
However, reports broke out that Banks and Naomi left the titles with WWE management and felt they werenât being respected enough as champions, thus leaving the future of the titles up in the air.
