Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on this past Monday’s episode of Raw over creative differences, but this isn’t the first time Banks has thrown her toys out of the pram.

Footage of her appearance on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions has recently re-emerged following the incident at the Norfolk Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, and could indicate Banks’ problems with WWE may have been bubbling to the surface for quite some time.

Speaking on Broken Skull Sessions about what level she perceives herself to be on using metaphors, Banks said: “Before I was a super fan just thankful to be here, thankful for my hot dog, thank you for my pizza, thank you for my time, my TV time.

“But there comes a point where you can be thankful, grateful and blessed, but they have to know there’s a chapter after that and that’s where I’m at, on a whole different level.

“I’m done with the I’m thankful, I’m done with the pizza, I don’t eat that anymore. I eat steak like Vince McMahon, with vegetables like him. Because I can be that and that’s where I’m at.

“I’m here, I’m signed and I’ve been here, I’ve put in the work and if I see myself where I want to see myself, I’m on Vince McMahon’s level.”

It would appear that Banks’ attitude towards WWE’s recent creative direction with her character has finally boiled over and the warning signs were there.

In recent times, The Legit Boss has been paired with Naomi and the two defeated previous WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Queen Zelina and Carmella, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan and Natalya and Shayna Baszler in a fatal four-way tag team match at WrestleMania 38 Night 2 last month to win the gold.

However, reports broke out that Banks and Naomi left the titles with WWE management and felt they weren’t being respected enough as champions, thus leaving the future of the titles up in the air.
