KSI could make his comeback against Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis - Conor McGregor's long-time training partner.

The British YouTuber has been out since November 2019 but will be back in action on August 17 in London against a soon-to-be opponent.

KSI - real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji - is set to lace up his boxing gloves again this summer - with a fight against his bitter American rival Jake Paul his long-term target.

KSI hasn't fought since his one and only professional boxing match with Jake's brother Logan Paul back in 2019.

However, he recently revealed he will return to the ring before facing the American for the ultimate bragging rights.

A clip from one of KSI's concerts shows the British star talking to the crowd about a potential fight with 'The Problem Child'.

In the clip, KSI can be heard saying: "It’s so funny, so many motherf*****s think ‘he ain’t going to box again, he’ll stick with the music’ and to be honest, I probably could have.

"But I was like nah man, I need to f**k Jake Paul up! So, you best believe it’s coming."

KSI has been linked to a potential fight with Dillon Danis

And now Danis has teased that he has agreed to fight KSI on his planned return in August after KSI's new promotions Misfit Boxing posted a poll on Instagram asking fans who would win in a potential fight.

BJJ black-belt Danis, 28, re-shared the post on his story so it's no surprise that has caused a bit of a storm on social media.

He also retweeted a fan's tweet last night which read: “BREAKING: @KSI potentially fighting @DillonDanis on August 27th!”

Danis, nicknamed 'El Jefe', was recently linked to an appearance against 5-0 pro boxer Paul.

Irish MMA fighter Peter Queally, who also trains with Danis and McGregor, previously insisted that he wouldn't think twice about stepping in the ring against the likes of KSI and Paul.

But Queally also admitted that his struggles with a leg injury prevented him from facing his rival.

He said: “He’s open to boxing if the right fight comes along.

“If the right kind of marquee boxing match came along, like this Jake Paul fight which was a possibility for a while.

“Maybe it’s not now because Jake has gone on and won a lot of big fights since then and maybe he’s looking for something else.

"But that was a real possibility for a while, that was more or less done him and Dillon so I could see a fight like that happening.

"I hope he’ll fight next year, he just had surgery I think in July and that was his second one.

“He had to go back and do a second one and he’s recovering from that, it’s quite a serious surgery.

"He needs to recover from that and then I could see him fighting next year – I would bet on MMA.”
