UFC sensation Conor McGregor has hinted at an imminent comeback announcement in his latest collection of tweets.

When it comes to social media, very few stars within the world of mixed martial arts know how to rattle cages quite as well as Conor McGregor. The man known as ‘The Notorious’ has a reputation for sending out crazy statements, often via Twitter, before getting a member of his team to swiftly delete them.

It makes for quite the cat and mouse game with many never really knowing whether or not he’s being serious, which has been particularly evident in the instances whereby he’s decided to retire before going back on his decision just days later.

This time around, though, McGregor has used the platform to once again hint at the prospect of him heading back into the Octagon sooner rather than later.

In case he deletes the evidence, here is what the Irishman said throughout the evening.

“I feel like I could do you’s all in. Handy. Any list. The Mac Daddy back in action. Tick, tock, my left hand is a Glock. If you want a knock off me step up and say your piece. I’m still picking who. Just kidding I well know who. When. What weight. Where. How it goes. Everything. I see dead people.”

Say what you will, but the guy is entertaining when he wants to be.

When was his last UFC fight?

Way back in summer 2021, Conor McGregor’s career hit arguably its biggest roadblock yet as he suffered a broken leg against rival Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas.

Still, as devastating as that must’ve been, the 33-year-old has opted to take it in his stride by continuing to push for a full recovery.

He’s back in training now and it appears to be just a matter of time before we see the UFC release an official announcement for his comeback fight.

As for who it’s going to come against, that one really is anyone’s guess.

Diaz at welterweight, Oliveira at lightweight, anything in between - it’s all in play and that’s exactly how McGregor likes it.
