New York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore has shown off his rather impressive footwork as footage has emerged from their offseason program.

The New York Jets wide receiver had a very impressive rookie season, racking up 43 catches for 538 receiving yards which translated into 5 receiving touchdowns, and that’s on top of 54 rushing yards which yielded 1 touchdown of its own.

Which when you consider he was working with a rookie quarterback in the form of Zach Wilson, something that presents its own problems, isn’t bad going, and now that both have got a year’s play under their belt, things should only get better for both of them.

And with incredibly quick feet like the ones that he showed during practice, Moore will probably be giving plenty of defensive backs problems this upcoming season.

Quick steps lead to success?

Footage posted by the New York Jets on their social media outlets shows Moore putting on an incredible display of quick feet during a drill in practice, moving them in and out of the ladder and then finishing it off with a catch:

Quick feet in order to both keep himself in bounds and also throw off an opposing player is a pretty important thing for a wide receiver to have, so working on these sorts of things will hone his skill and could be the first steps to taking him and the Jets to the next level.

Loading up the weapons on offence

Whilst the Jets have Moore on the roster from last year, with the addition of Garrett Wilson in the draft and Corey Davis who also carries over from last season, they are putting together a nice little array of talent on the perimeter.

The only question now is whether or not Zach Wilson will have developed enough year-on-year to get the ball to them all on a consistent basis and really take them to the next level after six losing seasons in a row.
