Everton's problems have made Richarlison, Ben Godfrey and Anthony Gordon targets for Tottenham, believes journalist Pete O'Rourke.

Spurs are being linked with the trio, and O'Rourke thinks the Toffees being in a dire situation financially and a relegation battle invited the north London club's interest.

What is the latest news involving Richarlison, Godfrey and Gordon?

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham have Richarlison, Godfrey and Gordon all on their radar.

The same outlet states that Antonio Conte is set to freshen up his squad, hence the interest in the Everton trio.

It remains to be seen how much each player will cost if Everton are forced to sell this summer, though the CIES Football Observatory values Richarlison, Godfrey and Gordon at £102m combined.

Ultimately, with there being a chance that Frank Lampard's men could be playing in the Championship next season, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.

What has O'Rourke said about Richarlison, Godfrey and Gordon to Tottenham?

O'Rourke thinks Tottenham are looking at Richarlison, Godfrey and Gordon because of what is happening at Everton on and off the pitch.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: "When you're trying to sign players from other Premier League clubs, the price tag might go up, but I'm sure Tottenham are doing the due diligence.

"They're probably keeping an eye on Everton's financial situation and potentially, if they went down, players that they might lose. Maybe that's why they're looking at the likes of Richarlison, Ben Godfrey and Anthony Gordon."

Which Everton player should Tottenham make a priority?

Gordon has really impressed in Everton's relegation battle, with manager Frank Lampard recently praising the youngster.

"He's becoming more of a man, more of a leader with every game, with every day. His dedication and talent is huge," the Toffees boss recently told Sky Sports.

However, out of him, Godfrey and Richarlison, the last of that trio would probably improve Tottenham the most.

In a season where the Merseyside club have really struggled, Richarlison has still been able to come up with 15 goal contributions in all competitions.

The fact that he can play up front and on the left also means Conte would have a good alternative to both Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

Should Everton go on to get relegated this season, there is every chance that Tottenham could end up with all three of Richarlison, Godfrey and Gordon. But if Conte could only bring one to Hotspur Way, it would be a surprise if he did not pick the Brazilian.
