Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst will put pressure on the hierarchy to 'dig deep' and give him a sizeable transfer budget if the Gers fail to bring the Scottish Cup back to Ibrox, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.
Van Bronckhorst was appointed as the Glasgow giants' chief last November and, ahead of his first full campaign in the dugout, could look to freshen up his options when the summer window opens for business next month.

The heartbreaking loss, which came after Aaron Ramsey was the only man to miss from the spot, resulted in Rangers' 50-year wait for a European trophy going on.

O'Rourke believes van Bronckhorst will ask the Rangers hierarchy to give him a healthy transfer budget if they fail to overcome Hearts in the Scottish Cup final.
The journalist feels it would be a natural reaction from the 47-year-old if he goes into the summer having failed to clinch any silverware following his move into the Ibrox hot seat.
He also reckons van Bronckhorst will want to freshen up his options ahead of challenging for trophies next term.
O'Rourke told GIVEMESPORT: "If they do end up not winning anything this year, I think van Bronckhorst will be asking for the club to dig deep in their pockets to give him the money to change the squad around."

Amad Diallo joined Rangers on loan from Manchester United in January, but van Bronckhorst has hinted that he could look to keep the attacker at Ibrox ahead of next season.
The Gers may reportedly be the destination for Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour, who is with Norwich City until the end of the Premier League campaign, as well.
Rangers are also understood to be in the race to sign Sunderland frontman Ross Stewart, but they are facing competition from Norwich and Swansea City.
