Battlefield 2042 Update 4.1 was meant to sort issues but it seems like it has done the opposite and in fact has made the gameplay worse.
The futuristic game in the franchise has taken a lot of criticism since its release in late 2021 and is arguably a failure.
With lots of bugs for months, the game was unplayable at times, but now, the developers are trying to get Battlefield 2042 running smoothly with lots of updates.
Update 4.1 was one that many gaming fans wanted to see; however, the outcome following the update will definitely frustrate many.

Patches are great in games as they bring new content and also sort out any known bugs or issues within the game.
It is great to see so many people enjoy the Battlefield franchise, but it does feel like they could lose a lot of fans due to these issues.
No doubt the developers do not want Battlefield 2042 to be rife with bugs and issues and the game went from massively hyped pre-launch to massively criticised.
EA DICE have made some absolutely classic games in the Battlefield franchise, so this is definitely just a one-off. It was very hard to create Battlefield 2042 due to COVID causing the gaming industry to delay launches and lose staff.
Hopefully the next update the developers bring out will see these bugs gone, or at least improved.
