Patrick Vieira clashed with a fan after the Premier League clash between Everton and Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Thursday evening.

Everton completed an incredible turnaround to beat Palace 3-2 and ensure their Premier League safety.

Palace led 2-0 at half-time thanks to goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jordan Ayew.

Goals from Michael Keane and Richarlison made it 2-2 with 15 minutes remaining,

Fans from the home side then spilled on to the pitch after Dominic Calvert-Lewin's winner in the 85th minute.

There was another pitch invasion when the final whistle sounded and Everton's Premier League safety was secured.

And there was an incident between Vieira and an Everton fan.

The Frenchman was being goaded by an Everton supporter as he made his way across the pitch and to the changing room.

Vieira lashed out and appeared to kick the individual to the ground. Watch the moment below:

When asked about the incident after the game, Vieira replied, per football.london: "I do not have anything to say about that."

Vieira could find himself in hot water after his actions.

Just a few days ago, there were two unsavoury scenes as Nottingham Forest fans invaded the pitch after their Championship play-off semi-final victory over Sheffield United on Tuesday evening.

A Forest fan was jailed after head-butting Billy Sharp.

Oli McBurnie is also being investigated by the FA after being accused of stamping on a Forest fan.
