Unsurprisingly, WWE has some pretty big plans for Roman Reigns this summer, a new report has claimed.

Roman Reigns is not slated to be on the card for Hell in a Cell on June 5, despite being the holder of both of WWE's world titles right now.

Reigns hasn't actually had a title match since he become Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38 in April by defeating Brock Lesnar.

However, a new report has claimed that while there are no plans for him right now, 'The Tribal Chief' is set for a very big summer in WWE.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has spoken about the big plans that WWE has for Reigns this summer.

Meltzer explains that, as of right now, the plan is for Reigns to face Riddle, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre at WWE pay-per-views in July and September.

The matches will take place at three WWE Premier Live Events this summer, with the working plan being as follows.

  • July 2 - WWE Money in the Bank - vs Riddle
  • July 30 - WWE SummerSlam - vs Randy Orton
  • September 3 - WWE Clash at the Castle - vs Drew McIntyre

If you're a fan of WWE, you'll know that plans often change very quickly, so there's no confirmation that the three aforementioned matches will end up taking place.

However, it's interesting to note that as of right now, Reigns is slated for PPV matches against three of WWE's top stars over the coming months.

Many thought that Reigns was slated for a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, which was set up back in April, but that doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon.
