Last night on AEW's Twitter multiple matches were confirmed for the highly anticipated Double Or Nothing PPV, taking place on the 29th of May in Las Vegas.

Double of Nothing is shaping up to be potentially the wrestling event of the year, and AEW won't be slowing down as they have the NJPW crossover show Forbidden Door next month.

The event will be taking place next Sunday, May 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, this is the first time the Double Or Nothing Pay-Per-View has taken place in Vegas since AEW's inaugural Double Or Nothing PPV.

Here are the matches confirmed so far:

'Hangman' Adam Page ( c ) v CM Punk - AEW World Championship

Prior to this, both men have been portrayed as two of the top faces in AEW. However, in recent weeks they have shown glimpses of attitude change and incorporating conventional heel tactics to play mind games with one another.

Page has made it clear verbally that he doesn't respect Punk and that he is going to embarrass and destroy the Best In The World. Whereas Punk has made it clear that there is no chance Page walks out of Double Or Nothing with the AEW World Championship.

Both men have also used each other's finishing manoeuvres to defeat opponents in warm-up matches leading into Double Or Nothing.

Punk is ready to reclaim the top prize in a professional wrestling company, whereas Page wants to add potentially the biggest name to the list of victims he has beaten during his impressive title reign.

Thunder Rosa v Serena Deeb - AEW Women's World Championship

Rosa after ending one of the greatest AEW Women's Title reigns in the company's history as she defeated Britt Baker at St. Patricks Day Slam to claim her first-ever AEW World Championship, reaching the top of the AEW women's division.

So far, she has defeated Nyla Rose in what was a gruelling contest for La Mera Mera at AEW Double Or Nothing II. However, her next challenger could be her toughest opponent yet.

Rosa has to go one on one with one of the most technically gifted women to ever step foot inside the squared circle, Serena Deeb.

Since her arrival in AEW Deeb has made a statement, destroying Shida in what was one of the biggest rivalries in AEW, coming to an end in a Philadelphia Street Fight where Deeb was the victor.

Deeb and Rosa have faced off before and have made it clear their respect for one another.

This is going to be a hard-hitting, technical wrestling display that could be a show-stealer.

Jericho Appreciation Society V Eddie Kingston, Santana, Ortiz, Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson - Anarchy In The Arena Match

For months Jericho and Kingston have had a red hot rivalry in AEW. It kicked into another gear after their bout at Revolution when Kingston was the victor and Jericho was obliged to shake his hand but Jericho would not follow through with his promise.

This led to the formation of the Jericho Appreciation Society in the following weeks where Jericho built his group of sports entertainers that will take over and take out wrestlers.

This recently caught the attention of Bryan Danielson and an old friend of Eddie Kingston's in Jon Moxley. Mox and Jericho already have a past from their times battling each other for the AEW World Championship.

The stipulation of the match looks as if it will be a similar format to that of a Stadium Stampede match that we have been familiar with in the past.

The Young Bucks v The Hardyz-

It's the Elite vs Delete as AEW has confirmed the dream match wrestling fans have been waiting for for years as arguably the greatest tag team of all time in The Hardyz collide with the greatest tag team of our generation in The Young Bucks.

The build-up for this match has been evident both on AEW television and on the hit YouTube series BTE (Being The Elite). It was clear AEW was setting up an angle for two of the greatest tag teams to collide once more as The Young Bucks could be the biggest obstacle in The Hardyz quest for gold.

Jurassic Express ( c ) v Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks v Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland - AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Swerve, Lee, Starks and Hobbs have been at each other's throats ever since Swerve and Lee's debuts in All Elite Wrestling. However, with both teams having tag team gold in their sights, this could prove to be the toughest challenge for the current AEW World Tag Team Champions.

Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus are no strangers to tag-team triple threat matches as even with the odds against them they still defeated The Young Bucks and reDragon at AEW's Revolution PPV.

However, will it be 'absolute' that the titles become the property of Team Taz or will the Express have to bask in the glory of the new AEW World Tag Team Champions Swerve and Keith Lee?

Death Triangle v House Of Black - Trios Match

Death Triangle looks to bring an end to the House Of Black's torment that has transpired with themselves, The Varsity Blonds and Fuego del Sol over the past few months.

However, it is unknown the position Julia Hart has in this scenario as it is clear she is in the plans for The House Of Black as a few weeks ago Malakai ordered her to hit Griff Garrison with a steel chair. Hart sports an eye patch hiding the injury similar to what Pac was put out of action with after the Dark Mist of Malakai Black blinded them.

Hook and Danhausen v Smart Mark Sterling and Tony Nese-

Over the past few weeks, Dnahausen has tried to secure the friendship of the cold-hearted killer HOOK. HOOK has been impressive since his debut in AEW currently sporting a perfect record.

The same can't be said about Danhausen after he was defeated in record time by the 'Premier Athlete' Tony Nese.

Nese since securing the services of Sterling looks to shift the hype away from HOOK and onto himself and he has the perfect opportunity to do this at Double or Nothing.

More matches may be announced closer to the time but stay tuned for updates.
