Bobby Lashley wants another opportunity to face Brock Lesnar, despite saying it was never his dream match.

For years fans spoke about the possibility of seeing Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar in a WWE ring, and they finally got their wish at the 2022 Royal Rumble.

Lashley challenged The Beast for the WWE Championship, a match that saw Lesnar retain his title, in what was billed as a dream match. However, The Almighty has revealed that to him it was never a ‘dream match’ because it felt like it would always happen.

Speaking to SO CATCH, the 45-year-old also said he wants another crack at Lesnar because he wasn’t happy with Roman Reigns’ interference in their meeting this past January.

You know, everybody’s been saying that about this is my dream match. It hasn’t been my dream match. It was a match that I heard from the beginning of the times of when I first came in, it was like, ‘Bobby Brock, Bobby Brock!’ And it just kept going on and on and on. So, it was like it’s something that needed to happen at some point in time. Did I get a chance to beat him up the way that I wanted to? No, but I did pin him. So that’s always … there’s one good thing and the rest is bad.Hopefully, we get an opportunity to go in there again, and actually really slug it out. Roman jumped in there to be a part of it because he wanted to make the match about him. Because he wants everybody to acknowledge him. But that match was not about him. So there’s gonna be another Brock and Bobby matchup, and I’ll really be able to beat him up the way that I want to.

Lesnar hasn’t been seen in WWE since he lost to Roman Reigns in the winner takes all undisputed title match at WrestleMania last month, however, it feels like there would still be big interest in a rematch with Lashley at some point.

On last week’s Monday Night Raw, Lashley continued his feud with Omos and MVP by defeating The Colossus in a steel cage match – thanks to Omos throwing him through the side of the cage. The pair could be set for another chapter in their rivalry at next month’s Hell in a Cell show.
