Kevin Owens and Adam Scherr (formerly Braun Strowman in WWE) had an emotional reunion at an event this weekend.

Kevin Owens, as he announced on Twitter, was part at MegaCon in Orlando on Saturday taking part in a signing.

Former WWE star Braun Strowman was also at the event, and he bumped into his former colleague Owens.

The pair then shared an emotional reunion, with Strowman lifting up Owens for a heart-warming embrace, which was captured by fans at the event.

Owens remains with WWE, signing a new contract last year, but Strowman was actually released last year.

In one of the more surprising releases of 2021, Braun was let go by WWE in June, just weeks after fighting for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash.

Reports stated that Strwoman's release was a cost-cutting measure, with Braun being selected due to just how much money he was making at the time with his contract.

Very soon after, it was rumoured that WWE was going to try and bring Braun back into the company, but that hasn't happened as of yet.

However, many fans believe that one day, Strowman will find his way back onto WWE's books, given how suited he is to their main event scene.

Since his release, Strowman has worked on the independent scene and did some work with Ring of Honor, as well as helping to form Control Your Narrative with fellow former WWE star EC3.
