Manchester City clinched yet another dramatic title after coming out on the right end of a frantic final day in the Premier League.
They looked to have blown their ascent to title glory after going two goals down to Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa midway through the second half.
Pep Guardiola's side showed their bottle, however, to come roaring back. They smashed three goals past Villa in next to no time to wrestle back control of the title race.
That would prove to be enough as a shell-shocked Villa just couldn't muster anymore meaningful attacks to leave City on the brink of yet another coronation.
Liverpool's win against Wolves proved to be irrelevant as they fell one point short of their fierce rivals.
It was the chaotic crescendo that the season deserved after a nine months laced with drama and all sorts of twists and turns.

These Power Rankings are based on points awarded to players for 35 different statistics - from goals and assists, to blocks and tackles.

A few stand-out names edge their way into the top 20 with some stellar performances.
Kevin De Bruyne's romp against Manchester United in March feels out of place being as low as 19th but you can hardly argue when you see what he's up against.
Mason Mount against Southampton was a sparkling display while you'll struggle to find a player who was in better form than Son Heung-min in the closing months.

This is where De Bruyne comes right into his own. Two performances in the top 10 and it is hard to argue that his recent display against Wolves is not worthy of top spot.
De Bruyne banged a 'weak-foot' hat-trick, plus one more, to inspire City to a brutal 5-1 win as they raced towards the title.
Roberto Firmino, who has been more on the fringes this season at Liverpool, showed he can still put on a show with his performance against Watford in 2021.
Of course, such a list would be incomplete without the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo who, despite Manchester United's struggles takes both fourth and fifth spot on the list.
