Best Performing Players
Manchester City’s man of the moment at the weekend. Ilkay Gundogan scored twice to remarkably come back from two goals down against Aston Villa to make sure the Premier League title was heading to Manchester once again.
From one title winner to another. Vintage Frenchman Olivier Giroud produced when it mattered once again but this time for AC Milan to secure them their first Scudetto title in 11 years. Giroud grabbed the first two goals which all but secured the victory for the Rossoneri.
On the opposite end of the table, Leeds United had to pull off a dramatic last-day victory to stay up – which was provided for them in the form of Jack Harrison. A 94th-minute winner from Harrison sent Leeds and their fans into a state of sheer ecstasy and ensured their survival in the top flight of the English division.
