Call of Duty: Warzone remains one of the single most popular online multiplayer games in the world.
The smash hit has had a massive 100 million concurrent players at its peak, breaking a number of records, and seeing various players of all shapes and sizes drop into the battle royale.
However, there are a number of competitors out there all trying to take the shine off Warzone, including the likes of Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex Legends all offer similar experiences.
GameRant reports that Warzone has lost around 50 million monthly players this year and there has now been a discovery of a very strange bug within the game.
Jonna Mae, on Twitter, has posted a very strange glitch as she attempts to loot weapons and items from a loadout drop.
There is a player from the opposition team next to the drop, though, so, naturally, Jonna shoots at them.
Nothing happens, so Jonna Mae approaches, and it appears that the figure is essentially a ghost. It stands idly with no movement, and makes no attempt to shoot any other players.
It’s quite creepy, in its own way.
And the cherry on top of the cake is the fact that only Jonna can see the ‘ghost’ player on their screen, with none of their team-mates able to see them.
Jonna, obviously, discards it as a bug and then continues to loot the drop before carrying on with their game.
It is one of a number of bugs that have been found in Warzone, which really is perhaps understandable given that there are up to 100 players dropping into every map.
But it does somewhat explain why there have been players moving away from Warzone and playing other games instead of jumping back into the Call of Duty-branded battle royale.
