Roger Federer, Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams all featured in Sportico’s list of the top 100 highest-paid athletes in the world, while stars such as Emma Raducanu boast endorsement deals with Porsche, Tiffany & Co and Evian.

But which tennis players receive the most per minute on the court? Using data from BetKansas.com, who have compared Grand Slam earnings since 2017, we list the highest-earning male and female stars.

Following Barty’s shock retirement from tennis in March, it remains to be seen how long she will remain at the top of the rankings.

Roger Federer is the highest-earning male player of the list. His hourly rate of $199,632 (£159,795) is around four times more than the average annual salary earned by the typical American.

He is joined on the highest-earners list by Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, who has made the most in winnings with an astonishing $48,898,320 (£39,125,012).
