NXT Champion Bron Breakker had admitted he regrets the tattoo on his arm that was inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg

Breakker is the son of former WWE Tag Team champion Rick Steiner, but he admits during the latest episode of Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast that the tattoo on his arm was inspired by a fellow former WCW star.

Although not identical the 24-year-old confesses that it is a similar design to the famous tattoo of one of his favourite Superstars growing up, Goldberg. However, he added that he will at some point get it covered up.

l liked Goldberg growing up, he’s one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. But I wish I didn’t have the tattoo, to be honest with you. The similarity, I was 18 at the time when I got it, it was obviously a mistake but it is what it is. He was one of my favorites growing up, had a few favorites. Triple H was probably my all-time favorite, obviously my dad and uncle too. Mine’s not the exact same either but they don’t like it.Probably (will get more to cover it up). That’s not a priority right now, I’m not worried about it but I’ll get around to it whenever I do. Not super concerned with it but I’m sure I’ll get something to go with it, we’ll see.”

Bron has made a quick ascent to the top of NXT 2.0, not unlike the trajectory that Goldberg took during his early days in WCW, and already has two NXT Championship reigns under his belt – one of which he won on Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania.

Breakker will next defend his NXT Championship at NXT In Your House on Saturday 4 June, as he takes on Joe Gacy in the night’s main event.
