UFC 275 is set to take place on Saturday 11th June 2022, and according to a new report, one of the Welterweight bouts from the undercard is set to be cancelled.

There are a number of major contests set to take place on the fight card itself, and as always there is a chance that changes will need to be made.

A fair few UFC cards during 2022 have had to have last-minute changes before bell time, and UFC 275 appears to be no different.

Here’s everything you need to know about the recent report indicating that a Welterweight bout from UFC 275 has been cancelled.

UFC 275 Fight Cancelled

A recent report from BJPENN.com has indicated that the planned bout between Orion Cosce and Blood Diamond is set to be cancelled due to injury.

The site noted: “Blood Diamond’s second UFC appearance will have to wait. Diamond was set to return at UFC 275 on June 11 in Singapore against Orion Cosce but sources tell BJPENN.com that the Zimbabwean has been forced out of the scrap.

“It’s uncertain if the UFC will look to rebook the fight or find a replacement for Cosce. This was also the second time the fight has been booked as the two were supposed to meet at UFC 271, but it was Cosce that had to pull out due to an injury.”

As of writing (the morning of Wednesday 25th May 2022), the official UFC website still has the contest listed as going ahead. This will however likely change in the following days.
