UFC star and self-confessed food fan Paddy Pimblett has claimed he is ready to shift some weight for his return to the Octagon at UFC London in July.

The lightweight fighter is known for letting himself go between bouts and has put on the pounds since his last fight in March, leaving the star now weighing in at 200lbs.

Appearing in an episode of BaddyTv on his YouTube channel, Pimblett is seen ordering a four-patty burger from a fast-food establishment, after stating: “Last time I got the triple and it wasn’t big enough.”

After participating in his first training camp session ahead of his return to the Octagon, Pimblett said: “Get this weight off lad and I’ll be ready to punch anyone’s head in whenever you want me to.

“I don’t look that fat like, but everyone loves calling me fat on the internet so we’ll go along with it.”

The Scouser has two wins from two in his UFC career after defeating Kazula Vargas in March with a first-round rear-naked choke.

Just two weeks after his victory, he weighed 200lbs.

Pimblett has been spending some time in the USA with training partner and fellow Scouser Molly McCann since his victory and was invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch for MLB side San Diego Padres.

Despite being back in training, Pimblett’s next fight has yet to be confirmed.

Although, UFC’s leaked schedule indicates his next fight will be at UFC London on July 23 against unbeaten Ottman Azaitar.

Nonetheless, ‘The Baddy’ is back in training and will be sure to be in match shape for the event.

The fan favourite and food fanatic joked: “I’d rather be fat and happy than ripped. These people who are ripped all year round are not happy, I don’t care what they say. This six-pack is sound, I look great but I’d rather be fat and happy."
