Roman Reigns has been a top champion in WWE for 634 days, winning the Universal Championship in August 2020.
Along with his Universal title, Reigns became the WWE Champion at WrestleMania 38 in April of this year, beating Brock Lesnar for the belt.
As a result of his win in the 'Winner Takes All' match, Reigns became the first-ever Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
As of right now, there's no word on when WWE plans on having Reigns drop the belt, but it doesn't appear that that'll be happening anytime soon.
The title scene post-Reigns does seem rather uncertain right now, but it's been a popular discussion point amongst fans online.

Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes could beat Roman Reigns for the WWE titles
This one does seem like a bit of a no-brainer.
Since Cody Rhodes was brought back to WWE, he's made it clear that the WWE Universal Championship is in his sights.
The title evaded his father, Dusty Rhodes, during his career, and Cody wants to put that right and win the belt for himself.
There's arguably no moment that could be bigger in WWE, after Cody's mission statement, than having him defeat Roman Reigns for the belts.
When this could happen is anyone's guess, as there's the small matter of Reigns' reported match with The Rock in April 2023, but Cody beating Roman for the titles does seem quite likely at this stage.
Theory
Austin Theory is a future WWE Champion
Along with Cody's quest for the world title, one thing that is pretty clear in WWE right now is how bright of a prospect Theory is.
It's clear that Vince McMahon loves Theory, who has been positioned as his on-screen partner since November of last year.
Theory, who has the potential of being one of WWE's top heels, could well be the man to eventually take the world titles off Cody Rhodes.
Considering how beloved Cody has been since his return, if WWE wants to make Theory into a top heel, having him beat Rhodes for the belts he's worked so hard to win could be a real neat move.
Riddle
Riddle could become a top star in WWE
Speaking of people that WWE is seemingly positioning as a future top star...
With RK-Bro being one of the most popular acts in WWE right now, it's become clear that Riddle could well break into the main event scene.
He's incredibly over with the fans, and to his credit, has smashed it out of the park whenever WWE has given him a top spot.
So, once Theory wins the title, Riddle ousting him to become a babyface champion could be an avenue that WWE explores.
Randy Orton
Randy Orton could become a 15-time WWE Champion
Everyone else on this list so far has never been a world champion before, but the same cannot be said for Randy Orton.
RK-Bro is one of the best things in WWE right now, and when they eventually split, Randy turning heel on Riddle and become WWE Champion for the 15th time could be a good avenue to explore.
Randy is one of the most popular guys in WWE right now, despite debuting over 20 years, and probably deserves one last title run before he does hang up his boots.
The emotion of Randy turning on Riddle and beating him for the title could, if booked right, be one of the most storylines in WWE in quite some time.
Gable Steveson
Gable Steveson is going to be a top star in WWE
It's strange to put someone that hasn't ever wrestled a match in WWE on this list, but it's clear that Gable Steveson is going straight to the top.
The Olympic gold medalist is said to be someone that WWE sees as a 'Brock Lesnar level' talent, so predicting him to be one of the next WWE Champions isn't the worst shout in the world.
What better way to have him win his first world title in WWE than having him beat one of wrestling's top stars too?
