WWE have officially announced that July’s Money in the Bank premium live event has moved locations and removed a number of big-name Superstars from the show.

Money in the Bank was set to take place from the Allegiant Arena in Nevada, Las Vegas, home of NFL team Las Vegas Raiders. However, it has now been moved to the nearby MGM Grand Arena, an obvious smaller-scale venue.

In addition to the announcement of the venue change, WWE also revealed an updated version of the poster for the event, with several notable big names now missing from the original Money in the bank promotional artwork.

The previous incarnation of the poster included WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and current SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. All of which no long feature on the Money in the Bank poster.

In their place come Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, The Street Profits and Riddle, who’s expected to be heavily featured on the card with reports he’s set to challenge for Reigns’ for his undisputed world titles.

While Flair and Lesnar’s omission isn’t too surprising given the expected time off both Superstars are reportedly having, removing Reigns and Rousey has raised questions among fans on the plans for both at the event.

There had been previous suggestions that Reigns would be working less dares over the summer, and now with Money in the Bank moved from a stadium spot to an arena setting, it could mean Roman may not appear at the show.

Another notable Superstar has also been removed from the original poster is Sasha Banks, who remains in a stand-off with the company following her and Naomi’s controversial walkout earlier this month.
