WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is one of WWE’s most successful Performance Center graduates.

The 33-year-old signed with WWE in 2015 with very little prior wrestling experience and the ‘homegrown’ talent has gone on to be one the biggest names in WWE.

Making her in-ring debut in 2016 for NXT, the EST of WWE can list a Royal Rumble win on her WWE CV, as well as two WrestleMania championship wins. In 2021 she defeated Sasha Banks in the main event of night one to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and last month stole the show by defeating Becky Lynch to capture the Raw Women’s Title.

Belair though, is one to never forget her roots and recently spoke about a desire to go back and work in NXT at some point. And has now shared a throwback photo of her first-ever WWE try-out in March 2015 to her Instagram account.

Bianca is seen without her signature long hair braid inside a WWE ring, alongside another future WWE Women’s Champion Carmella, who she tags in the picture. Look even closer at the image and you’ll also see NXT trainer Matt Bloom and the rest of the 2015 class.

Fans will recall that Belair was also featured as part of the WWE show Breaking Ground, which aired on the WWE Network in 2015 and featured a number of future Superstars, including Lacey Evans, Happy Corbin and Otis.

The EST of WWE will be next be in action at next month’s Hell in a Cell premium live event, when she puts her Raw Women’s Championship on the line in a triple-threat bout against Asuka and former champion Becky Lynch.
