Bella Mir, the teenage daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, will compete in her third professional MMA bout next month.

According to MMA Fighting, Mir will fight for the Xtreme Fight Night promotion at XFN 381 on June, 24th, at the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Okla.

Who is Mir?

Mir’s father, Frank, is an MMA star, who formerly competed in the UFC for 16 years. He is a two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion and holds the record for most finishes and the most submission victories in UFC Heavyweight history.

Bella is the oldest of Frank’s three children and made her MMA debut back in October 2020 as a 17-year-old.

Her first two fights were both for the iKOn Fighting Federation. In her first contest, she emerged victorious via unanimous decision, while she won her second by submission in less than two minutes.

However, she has not fought for 18 months since then –– opting to focus on school and compete in amateur wrestling.

Who will Mir fight?

Mir does not yet have an opponent for XFN 381, but her representatives at First Round Management told MMA Junkie that details are expected to be finalised shortly. The fight is due to take place in the women’s bantamweight division.

XFN, otherwise known as Xtreme Fight Night, is Oklahoma’s premier mixed martial arts promotion.

Other fights that will take place in Tulsa include a four man Heavyweight Kickboxing Tournament.

How good is Mir?

Mir has been tipped for big things after impressing during her high school wrestling career and in her first two professional fights.

Frank Mir also spoke recently about how he expects big things from his daughter and that seeing her flourish is his primary focus.

Speaking to MMA Junkie, he said: “I’m not going to say anything people would not expect from me as a father, but in about three years, everybody is going to know who she is.”
