Liverpool fans have travelled in great numbers to Paris for the club's Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday evening.

Despite Liverpool only being given an allocation of just under 20,000 for the match at Stade de France, BBC have reported that 60,000 fans are expected in the French capital ahead of the game.

Many of those that made the trip have attended the fan park in the southeast of Paris, on Cours de Vincennes.

And the scenes at Liverpool's fan park were absolutely incredible, to say the least.

Liverpool fans were in great spirits ahead of the final as they belted out tune after tune.

Dua Lipa's 'One kiss' is a major hit with Liverpool fans and those in attendance at the fan park went wild when it was played.

Gala's 'Freed from Desire' went down very well.

Liverpool fans went wild when Virgil van Dijk's song was played.

While the song for Roberto Firmino, 'Si Senor', is also very popular among Liverpool fans and was belted out with some gusto.

The Athletic's James Pearce is currently in Paris. He was also present In Madrid for the 2019 Champions League final.

Of the atmosphere in France's capital, he wrote: "Thought Madrid was crazy but this is on a different level."

Absolute scenes. You've got to credit those in attendance. That's some atmosphere that they've managed to create.

Liverpool are looking to win their seventh Champions League trophy on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp will have virtually a whole squad to call upon for the final, with Divock Origi expected to be the only absentee.

Thiago and Fabinho were both injury doubts but are expected to play after training in mid-week.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, are looking to be crowned champions of Europe for the 14th time.
