Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch has returned to his ‘best shape ever’ and has already announced his intentions to fight Jake Paul in his first bout in the ring since his retirement in 2013.

Butterbean announced: "I’m gonna fight one last fight, let's get it on me and you Jake Paul".

The pair’s feud goes back to 2020 as Paul drew comparisons to Butterbean which he responded with: "They can go f*** off", to those who think he is a sideshow like Butterbean.

Butterbean who got his nickname through his dieting struggles, called upon his fellow WWE star Diamond Dallas Page who’s famously reinvented a variety of stars such as Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and the Late Scott Hall.

Butterbean has showed his progress on his social media where he has clearly lost a lot of weight.

Butterbean has said that on his next podcast he would reveal exactly how much.

However, Butterbean is unlikely to be first in line to fight the 5-0 boxer, with youtuber KSI also announcing that he will be making his return to boxing for the sole purpose to ‘f*** Jake Paul up’.

Paul has also drawn attention from the pinnacle of the fight world in UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman who’s shared his thoughts on Paul’s naivety.

Usman has accused Paul of thinking this is a ‘game’ and said, ‘you don’t realise this is how people truly get hurt’.

Paul who made a some believe to be a mockery of the fight world in his victories over Woodley and Askren due to his YouTube background and their world championship fighting pedigree.

Usman made it clear that Paul would be receiving very different treatment from him than he did in the UFC stars he previously fought in Woodley and Askren, ‘saying I can change your life in the worst way’.

Paul is also still in extended negotiations over a possible $300 million fight with his friend Mike Tyson who has agreed to fight Paul if they can break the pay-per-view records.

With all these possible fights for Paul it is looking unlikely that Butterbean will be getting his wish to fight the YouTuber any time soon.
