Everton could land two "massive signings" in Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The Merseyside club have been linked with the Chelsea duo, and O'Rourke thinks ex-Blues manager Frank Lampard could give them the edge over other potential suitors.

What is the latest news involving Broja and Gallagher?

According to GOAL, Newcastle United, West Ham and Southampton, where Broja spent the 2021/22 season on loan, are three outfits from the Premier League who want to sign the striker this summer.

Back in January, TEAMtalk reported that Everton, Leeds United and Wolves also had an interest, so Broja clearly has quite the fan club in England.

And it is a similar story with Gallagher after his successful loan spell at Crystal Palace, where the 22-year-old scored eight league goals in 34 appearances from midfield.

As per the Daily Star, Palace, understandably, Everton and West Ham all want Gallagher.

What has O'Rourke said about Broja, Gallagher and Everton?

O'Rourke thinks Everton signing both Broja and Gallagher could be huge and reckons having Lampard in charge could give them an advantage.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: "It might give them an edge [having Lampard]. If both of those players were to leave Chelsea, maybe he could persuade them to move to Everton, and they'd be two massive signings if Everton were to get them."

How much could Broja and Gallagher cost?

Currently, Broja has a CIES Football Observatory value of £34m, but Everton could end up paying a lower fee, with it being suggested that Chelsea's valuation is closer to £25m.

As for Gallagher, his CIES Football Observatory is £42m, but even a bid of that amount may not be enough to get him out of Stamford Bridge this summer.

According to multiple reports, including from The Guardian, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is ready to make room in his squad for the England international.

In fact, the German has suggested that he is willing to give both Gallagher and Broja roles for the 2022/23 campaign depending on how pre-season goes.

"I want to have them in pre-season and we will decide in pre-season what goes on. It is heavily up to them and how they do," Tuchel was quoted as saying by the Daily Echo last month.

When you consider all of the above, it is far from a guarantee that the Blues will sell Broja and Gallagher in the upcoming transfer window. But if they do, it looks like Everton could be firmly in the race to sign the pair.
