Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Edge toil with WWE fans over who could be the next person to join The Judgment Day. The WWE Hall of Famer has already recruited Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley into his fold but has promised further additions in the future.
So far, we’ve seen Edge share no-context images on his Twitter timeline of a plethora of WWE names, including Ciampa, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Paige, Liv Morgan, Corey Graves and Bayley. All of which have been taken as teases to who the next member would be.
In a latest tweet, The Rated R Superstar has posted a photo of Ava Raine, who is more commonly known as Simone Johnson, the daughter of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Hinting that this fourth-generation star could be the next target for The Judgement Day.
WWE recently changed Johnson’s name to Ava Raine, signally that she could be making her NXT TV debut soon. And with Rhea Ripley supposably heading to NXT on Tuesday, could Raine’s first storyline involve The Judgement Day?
The name change for Raine, caused some outcry over the weekend with some suggesting that it would a wrong move for WWE to shy away from Ava’s obvious illustrious family name. However, the 20-year-old hit back at the claims and defended the decision to change her name.
i could build my entire career around my father & people would still bash me anyway 🤷🏽♀️ https://t.co/LjkQdoOpws— ava 🃏 (@AvaRaineWWE) May 29, 2022
The Judgement Day will be in action at this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell premium live event, when Edge, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest take on the trio of AJ Styles, Liv Morgan and Finn Balor in a mixed tag team bout in Chicago.
