Ghostwire Tokyo: How Long Does it Take to Beat?

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Ghostwire: Tokyo is Tango Gameworks’ first open-world game and players are keen to know how long it takes to beat the game.

In this PlayStation console exclusive, which is available on both PS5 and PC game, there is enough to keep you busy for a while if you choose to participate in everything the open world has to offer, with the main story path to pursue, a slew of side missions, and over 240,000 spirits to collect.

However, many of the side activities are optional. So, if you just want to finish Akito and KK’s journey, you don’t have to worry about being bound by open-world filler needs.

So let’s find out how long it will take you to use your ethereal weaving powers to hunt down the yokai and save Tokyo?

How Long Does it Take to Beat Ghostwire: Tokyo?

The main story can be wrapped up in around 12 hours, on normal difficulty, and that’s if you do not do the side missions. Most of those hours can be spent going through Tokyo collecting money and XP to unlock skills and items.

If you plan on freeing all the spirits, collecting all the items, and completing all the tasks, you’ll need about 20-30 hours. Depending on how often you fight enemies and whether you fast travel throughout the map or not, this number can be slightly lower or higher.

You’re looking at a short campaign with a lot of repetitious side missions. Fortunately, you may complete the main mission line without engaging in any open-world activities. So, if they’re not for you, you can skip forward to the story’s chapters.

Finally, if you’re a finisher, Ghostwire: Tokyo will take you about 30-35 hours to complete. A complete playthrough entails completing all quests and objectives as well as earning all trophies and achievements.

Experience may vary, which means that the result may be different too. It all depends on how much time you spend exploring, playing around with the different builds, and mission completion.
