Fan reaction

It's simple really, Casemiro is one of the greatest defensive midfielders in history and that is not up for debate.

The now five-time Champions League winner is an absolute warrior who plays the role of a No.6 to perfection.

Casemiro also oozes class whenever he gets on the ball, which is why he must be such a nightmare to come up against.

It begs the question; are Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric the finest midfield trio the game has ever seen? After their latest European success, there's certainly a case to be made with regards to the answer being 'yes'.
