Sadio Mane looks set to leave Liverpool this summer.

Hours after Jurgen Klopp's side had lost in the Champions League final to Real Madrid, reports emerged suggesting Mane was looking for a new challenge.

He's now being heavily linked to Bayern Munich.

Where does this leave Liverpool?

Well, it leaves them without a world-class forward who is capable of playing across the front three positions.

How do Liverpool replace such a player?

According to Fabrizio Romano, they intend to sign a striker to replace Mane.

"The club's intention is in fact to buy a new striker because Luis Diaz is performing at excellent levels, of course - but Mane will be replaced in case of departure," Romano wrote for the Anfield Watch. "The discussion is already on the table internally and it will soon be time for decisions."

So, which strikers could Liverpool turn to?

There haven't been too many reports so one Liverpool fan took it upon himself to analyse 16 possible options. Twitter user @LFCLaurie has summed up each option with a couple of sentences before rating each player out of 10 for suitability and likelihood as well as an estimated valuation.

Let's take a look at the thread:

So, who should Liverpool sign out of that group?

"To summarise, there are some very good options out there. Kane would be first choice, but it won’t happen, so if you’re looking for a top tier, realistic option, Nkunku ticks the boxes. David, Scamacca and Toney interest me," the thread concludes.

Exactly what Liverpool do remains to be seen but one thing seems clear - Mane will be leaving the club in the coming weeks.
