Everton losing Richarlison this summer is a real possibility, believes journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The Brazilian and team-mate Dominic Calvert-Lewin have both been linked with moves away from Goodison Park, with the former recently hinting that he has already told the club that he wants out.

What is the latest news involving Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin?

Richarlison spoke about his future at the end of last month while on international duty with Brazil.

He told Globo Esporte: “I’ve already made it clear to the board, I’ve already talked to [Frank] Lampard too, with my agents and they know what I want. Let’s wait for June."

Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal are just a few clubs who are thought to be interested in signing the £45m-rated Everton forward.

Meanwhile, Calvert-Lewin continues to be linked with a switch to Newcastle United. According to the Daily Mirror, the Tyneside outfit have identified the 25-year-old as the man who they want to lead their line in the 2022/23 season.

What has O'Rourke said about Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin and Everton?

O'Rourke has told GIVEMESPORT that everything is pointing towards Everton losing either Richarlison or Calvert-Lewin in the upcoming transfer window.

Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: "All signals do point to at least one of them leaving this summer. I think Richarlison has given out some signals while away on international duty that he has told the club what his plans are for the summer, so I think he is hinting there that he has told them he wants to leave, and there are quite a few clubs being linked with a move for the Brazil international as well."

Who could Everton bring in if they lose Richarlison or Calvert-Lewin?

There has been talk about Everton being interested in Nottingham Forest's Brennan Johnson, with the Daily Mail recently reporting that the Toffees are eyeing the 21-year-old.

Should Richarlison be the one to depart Goodison Park this summer, he could come in and play on the right while Demarai Gray is utilised on the left.

Regarding Calvert-Lewin's potential exit, transfer insider Dean Jones has told GMS that Lampard could look to use his contacts at Chelsea to bring in Armando Broja, so he could be one option.

The 20-year-old striker spent the 2021/22 season out on loan at Southampton, scoring nine goals in 38 appearances.

The Toffees would likely face competition for his signature, though, with the likes of Southampton, Newcastle and West Ham all said to be keen on signing him.
