Los Angeles Rams wide receiver duo Cooper Kupp and Tutu Atwell both pulled off incredible catches during OTAs.
The Los Angeles Rams are in a very good place right now. Having gone through the heartache of losing the Super Bowl back in 2019 to the New England Patriots, they finally managed to climb the mountain top with their victory over the Cincinnati Bengals this past February.
And even though they may well be without the services of Aaron Donald who is currently on the fence when it comes to his desire to come back and play once again, youâll struggle to find someone who doesnât think they wonât be contending near the top once again this season.
Part of that is down to their incredible offense that they have managed to put together, helped by quarterback Matthew Stafford whose arm helped lead them to places that former signal caller Jared Goffâs arm couldnât.
Donât forget the targets
But what good is a quarterback without his weapons? Thatâs where Cooper Kupp comes in, who had a season for the ages in 2021, with the 28-year-old winning the âTriple Crownâ, leading the NFL in catches with 145, receiving yards with 1,947 and touchdowns with 16.
All this before blitzing the competition by putting up 6 touchdowns in the postseason, including 2 in the Super Bowl as he won the gameâs MVP award:
This season has catapulted Kupp into the discussion as one of the best in the game, made all the more remarkable considering that he was a 3rd round pick by the Rams out of Eastern Washington back in 2017.
Looking to run it back
And if this footage from Rams OTAs is anything to go by, then thereâs a good chance heâll be able to do the same again, as he and Tutu Atwell, a return man last year but who could transition to a receiver with his incredible feet, pulled off some impressive catches, with Atwell's arguably better than Kupp's:
Hereâs hoping they leave something in the tank for the regular season, they donât want to use all their spectacular catches before the crowds can see them.
