England are currently one of the best international football teams on the planet.

Gareth Southgate's side reached their first World Cup semi-final for 28 long years back in 2018 and they're now a far more formidable outfit going into the upcoming edition of the tournament.

The Three Lions possess high-quality options in virtually every area of the pitch, especially in the right-back department.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James and Kyle Walker - arguably the three best in the position in the world right now - will be competing for a starting berth at the 2022 World Cup. Not a bad selection headache to have, eh?

What makes it even better from an England perspective is that Alexander-Arnold and James are aged 23 or below, meaning they'll be available to select for many years to come.

The world-class duo are far from the only brilliant youngsters at Southgate's disposal as well.

Quality everywhere to be seen.

A midfield trio of Rice, Bellingham and Mount would start for most international and club teams in the game right now.

And you know things are looking good for England when the likes of James, Gallagher, Sancho and Smith Rowe don't even make the best U23 starting XI.

If the Three Lions don't win a major trophy in the next 10 years or so, it'll be an absolute travesty...
