Ronnie O'Sullivan proved his immense class earlier this year as he claimed an unprecedented seventh World Snooker Championship title.

The Rocket cruised into the final at the Crucible after the competition coughed up an all star semi-final line-up.

However, it was nothing more than a procession for O'Sullivan who made light work of Mark Williams in the final four before meeting young-gun, Judd Trump.

Trump put up a spirited fight but it was ultimately chaff in the wind as O'Sullivan clicked through the gears to crush any hope of a comeback and clinch the finale 18-13.

It meant that O'Sullivan joined Stephen Hendry on that magical seven title mark and you can be sure that he will now be hell-bent on making that record his own.

The ease with which O'Sullivan has worked his way to Hendry's level is one of the reasons he is one the most beloved players on the circuis but it is his in-game nonchalance that has perhaps endeared him most to fans.

Ronnie never seems to be under pressure and, despite the odd expected tantrum, is a king at taking things in his stride.

Never was that more evident than in 2017 when O'Sullivan was left to deal with a rather polite fan invasion.

As the lady jogged around the table avoiding security, Ronnie simply cracked on, expertly potting the pink before turning to the fan in question and offering her the chance to pot the winning black.

She duly stepped up and, as a beaming O'Sullivan watched on, fluffed her lines.

You can see the brilliant moment in the clip below:

Brilliant stuff - two goes at it and she just couldn't quite make the moment count.

The polite absurdity of the moment only continue das she gave Ronnie a thumbs up, thanked him with a hearty 'Cheers' and calmly made her way off the floor while flanked by security.

The sort of scenes you could only ever see around a snooker table.
