Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has launched a scathing attack on people who are questioning his arm strength.

Tua Tagovailoa is set to enter a pretty critical year both for himself and for the Miami Dolphins as an organisation as they are going into their 3rd year together after they drafted him with the #5 pick during the 2020 NFL Draft.

The first two years have been reasonable, but far from spectacular, especially when you consider where they took him in the draft. In his 21 starts so far, he has a winning record of 13-8 and had thrown for 4,467 yards and 27 touchdowns whilst also adding another 6 on the ground.

Now going into his third year, you kind of get the sense that this might be a ‘make or break’ campaign for him, because if there isn’t any significant improvement, the talk about possibly replacing him could start to pop up.

Giving him every chance

In order to help him and give him a top-notch weapon to use, the Dolphins traded for Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs this past offseason, giving up a 2022 1st round pick, 2nd round pick and 4th round pick as well as 4th and 6th round picks in the 2023 draft.

Hill, nicknamed ‘Cheetah for his incredible speed’ hauled in 7,771 receiving yards and 61 touchdowns during the regular and postseason, becoming one of the most feared receivers in the league.

The two are starting to build a rapport together, but from the outside it hasn’t always looked that smooth, as a pass between the two back in May during practice received some pretty strong criticism from fans online, forcing Hill to respond

Tua stands up for himself

Further videos have emerged of Tua throwing to Hill, with things looking a little better than they did when they first got together:

But that still hasn’t stopped some of the comments coming through, forcing Tua to go on the attack and call out those people during a recent press conference:

All good words and it is clear to see there is some improvement, but at the end of the day, the real test will come when the games are played, because that is when the two of them are really going to have to step up and show the league what they can do.
